Belly Dancing in Tel Aviv: Poems of Love and Survival (Unabridged) - Karen Alkalay-Gut

Love, eroticism, war, disease, belly dancing, the ghost of Oscar Wilde… The sorrow and the disconcerting reality tempered with irony, with a bright lightness, with an invincible vitality. From the land of Israel, an extraordinary collection of poems that tell, on the background of violence poisoning daily living, a soul rich in sympathy, courage and smartness.
